TALENTQUEST'08 HAS FINALLY COME TO AN END.

well, the events at least. evaluation and stuff next. it's been a tiring week for the exco. working late NIGHTS and all. rushing to get everything done and putting everything into place to make sure that our grand finals won't screw up and stuff.

i'd love to blog about it. but i NEED to study my CM1131. i attempted to do my tutorial and found out i didn't understand anything. AT ALL. as usual, i panicked and started to feel stressed. not to mention i have a HORRIBLE headache (yes again) due to my MAJOR lack of sleep. but i shall force myself to study until 2/3AM or something.

i'll write a shout-out to all my TQ loves tomorrow or something. ((:

today turned out to be a really good day. haha. lab was kinda fun. especially when you have 3 people in your group! things can get done a lot faster. ((: we are an efficient trio! hohoho. we managed to finish up everything in less than 2 hours. but the bad thing was that we had 3 horribly long hours to kill. ughh.

as usual, i didn't listen to CM1131 lecture. but i really don't understand anything at all. which explains why I FAILED MY TEST. )): rarh. wasn't that upset though. i kinda expected to fail since i only have limited understanding for this stupid module. anybody kind enough wants to teach me? ((:

anyway, baka and ziping were being ridiculous during lecture. on my right, baka was 'FLUFFING' my arm (she claims i'm her bolster) so she could sleep on me. O.O and on my left, ziping kept drawing circles on my arm and chanting 'onion rings' wishing that onion rings will pop out of my arm. =.=;; omg. this is what CM1131 lecture does to them. makes them so bored and hungry that they go insane. tsktsk.

the TQ gang in chem headed down to the clubroom for our mass briefing. i had two VERY unglam moments. omg. i think i'm too tired already. lol.
1. falling down very unglamly onto the chair. char and alan tried NOT to laugh and very kindly pretended that they didn't see anything.
2. falling down again even more unglamly on the floor RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE TQ PEOPLE. tried to save my image but sitting very decently but everyone saw. UGH. how super UNGLAM is that?! ahh, my image. lol.

the briefing was quite fun. lol. laughing and joking around. in the end, it ended at 10PM. all of us went home not having dinner at all coz it was too late. and the chem people haven't finish doing their LSM assignment which is due TOMORROW 12NOON. kelian de. thank goodness i chionged finish last night coz i knew i wont have time to do it today. lol.

ZIPING DROPPED 'WEEKEONG' ONTO THE WET AND DIRTY ROAD. roar. coz there was a lorry behind us so ziping hurriedly ran out of the car and dropped him. LOL. it was funny to hear her 'OH NO. I DROPPED WEEKEONG ON THE FLOOR'. hahahaha. poor thing. he was wet and black. well, alice cleaned him up. sort of. i was supposed to bring him home and put him in the washing machine but i when i looked at it, it looked okay to me so i just left him in the car. HAHAHA. oops.

i just realized i have one more example to prove my 'lijun is stupid' theory! there was once when she had to take the train to yewtee. so she was looking frantically for 'U' on the MRT map coz she thought yewtee was spelt as 'UTEE'. =.=;; omg. that girl... she's always embarrassing herself. really. hahaha. but i love her! ((:

going for funorama tomorrow with leonard, faizul, kah hern and peisi! yays. my JC loves. omg. i haven't met them since lydia's birthday. which was nearly 2 months ago! O.O after that, heading down to school to meet ziping and do last minute TQ stuff. ugh.

CM1121 IS OVER! hohoho. you have no idea how long i've waited for this day to be over. ever since recess week. lol. 15 chapters. omg. i didn't really have any feelings when i came out of MPSH2. the only thought that was going through my head was 'YAY. IT'S OVER.'

by right, i could've gone home after the test. but i stayed in school all the way coz i had to go back down to chin swee road to collect our trophies. yes! they got it done by today. ander marketing is really efficient! wow.

anyway, ziping and i went down at around 4PM. ziping claims that with her around, we will confirm not get lost. there was this road where i just had to drive all the way straight down and turn right at outram road before turning into chin swee road. we were talking until i didn't pay attention to the streets at all. =.=;; until i saw the ERP gantry in front of me and i panicked. coz i dont want to pay. so i quickly turned right. and... that road that i turned to was CHIN SWEE ROAD. omg. ridiculous. to think that the ERP gantry actually saved us. =.=;;

oh yes, on the way to chin swee road, i took both 'ziping' and 'weekeong' and gave it to ziping to play with on the way. i have no idea why, but she kept dropping either one of them every 10 seconds or so. LOL. kelian de softtoys. which reminds me, ziping and alice were playing 'who can throw either softtoys onto the dashboard of my car' on tuesday while i was sending them home. =.=;; madness. ziping, of course, MISSED all the times. haha. either throwing them too hard and they bounce off the dashboard, or she'll throw and hit alice on the head. coz alice was sitting in front. =.=;; my poor softtoys. kelian de 'ziping' and 'weekeong' ah. i'm sorry you guys have to be tortured by mad people. lol.

and i have proven that 'lijun is stupid' theory. LOL. coz behind the front seats, there was this pull-up tray thing where you can put food and drinks on. apparently, lijun has never seen that before. =.=;; so she was so excited and stupidly cried out in DELIGHT 'OMG. I FEEL LIKE I'M ON AN AEROPLANE!' *time suddenly stood still and my whole world turned black and white (imagine those animes)* my goodness. i have such WEIRD friends. honestly. and people say I'M weird!

i wasn't feeling very good on tuesday so i kept announcing to the world that
I WAS MORPHING INTO A GERM.
HAHAHAHAHAH. omg. baka was so horrified with what i came up with. i said ziping is a germ and that i'm morphing coz she passed me her cough and stuff. LOL. for the entire day, i was really very high. and kept doing the 'germy' actions. hahaha.

and during CM1121 tutorial, baka was looking at my answers and i wanted my paper back to make some changes to it or something. so i uhhh said stupid stuff. LOL.
me: baka, i want my paper!
baka: *continues to stare at my answer*
me: stop staring at my answers. they're SHY.
baka: *turns, stares and gives me the 'ARE YOU CRAZY' look*

kristin: *turns and gives me the O.O expression*
then the 3 of them just ignored me. =.=;;

OH. and when one of the girls (I DONT REMEMBER HER NAME. OOPS.) went up to present, i just told baka (unknowningly) 'she's so cute. so chubby whubby'. baka just stared at me and then ignored me. then i continued 'she looks like a marshmallow'! HAHAHA. omg. morphing into a germ is not a good thing. it makes me lose my sanity.

TOMORROW IS TALENTQUEST DAY.

i have to blog about today's event. though i'm feeling horrible. my headache has officially gotten WORSE. it's been hurting the whole day. usually it stops at night. but i guess it decided to make me suffer more today. )): and my cough. ughh. my horrible cough. my mom forced me to the cough medicine just now coz she was worried i'll get some weird pneumonia thing and die. =.=;; adding on, i have a FLU. omg. i'm super tired now. tired coz i'm sick. rarrh. but i can't sleep.

anyway, yes. today's event. my very lovely friend, BAKA, decided to follow tara and me to see the trophies and get the REDS sponsored stuff. ((: BAKA, i love you a lot a lot a lot. and FOREVERMORE! ((: hehehe.

okay. first stop. was some trophy shop at geylang lorong 23. thank goodness for the existence of a street directory. we got there pretty quick. and we didn't get lost. haha. coz we didn't have trouble finding lorong 23! shit you tuas south avenue 6! lol. after seeing the trophies, tara said to go to another trophy shop to compare. this time the shop (called anders marking or something along that line) was at chinatown, chin swee street. we got there after making a huge round. but we got there nonetheless. last stop! at REDS! it was near cityhall. at liang seah street. turned out that the 'hampers' that they were sponsoring came in plastic bags. YES WE HAVE TO WRAP THEM OURSELVES. ridiculous. where on earth can we find the time to do it?! ughh. we need manpower!

okay. basically that was the summary of where we went. now i must tell you the 'adventure' we had in the car. omg. it was crazy. the 3 of us honestly went insane. it was super fun can. it's like we are on some road trip rather than doing errands. hahaha.

as usual, i will play my jrock/jpop CD in my car coz i dont really like to listen to the radio. the songs are boring. so tara told me she wanted to listen to ENGLISH songs. so i decided to switch to 98.7FM. then i told her 'i bet we'll listen to our TQ theme song'. lol. the TQ theme song is i can't remember who sang it but it has the lyrics 'everything's gonna be alright'! haha. tara and i have heard it whenever we're out running errands. REALLY. without fail. the last time we went to tuas, WE HEARD IT. so when i switched to the radio, they started to play james blunt's you're beautiful. after that, tara suddenly went 'OMG MEL!' scared the hell out of me. i thought i made a wrong turning. =.=;; anyway, IT TURNED OUT THAT THEY WERE PLAYING THAT SONG. hahahhaha. omg. that was it. i laughed for a good 10 minutes while driving. baka just kept laughing at us and saying 'sooner or later i'm going to hate that song'. it was really damn funny. my goodness. joke of the day.

okay 2nd thing. by the time we went to collect the stuff from REDS, it was like 2.30PM. baka and i were starving coz we didn't have lunch first. so while on the way to REDS, i was really really really hungry. i saw the street name 'pisang road' as 'goreng pisang road' and 'jln sultan' as 'jln sultana'. AND my car steering wheel suddenly look strangely like a donut. and 7-11 was staring at me with those shiny eyes. HAHAHAHA. insane. i really lost it then. too hungry until i was HALLUCINATING. my goodness.

we went to subway for lunch at some nearby place. it was like 3PM already and tara missed her tutorial! ugh i felt so bad coz i really didn't want her to miss her tutorial coz it's not good! and just so happened ziping messaged tara to ask where we were. then ziping said that dingli will kill her coz she promised to keep watch over tara's academic. hahaha. then i told tara 'if dingli kills ziping, i'll kill you. then dingli and i will have a showdown! his oar against my bowling ball. street fighter round 1! dinging!' O.O dont ask me what i was thinking then. omg. i think too much driving is not good for my brain. makes me come up with weird stories.

oh yeah, when i was driving, i was busy scolding all the cars who pissed me off. =.=;; honestly, MEN AREN'T EXACTLY VERY GOOD DRIVERS EITHER. jeez. there was this nissan sunny car which was pissing me off. i can't remember what happened. but i went something like 'WALAO! STUPID NISSAN!' i dont know why but baka found it wonderfuly amusing and laughed non-stop. =.=;;

we decided to give each other roles in the car.

tara - CRY WHEN WE GET LOST
hahahaha. coz tara didn't have anything to do! coz we decided to give her that role. honestly, that girl cannot read maps at all. she was looking at the map for so long before we set off to lorong 23 and went 'I CANT FIND THE STREET'. O.O win.

reached school around 5PM. yes, baka missed her LSM tutorial. but she didn't really care. =.=;; but then again, going for that tutorial is indeed very useless. lol. i just go there, listen and take down notes. jang! ben showed us the programme booklet that he did. super pretty! the TQ comm photo was really nice can. omg. we all look super good! very happy! ((: TQ grand finals is going to be a blast! anyone interested to go? tell me!

and last thing. I AM SUDDENLY SOW OGL COZ OF LIJUN. stupid lijun. that girl didn't want to be OGL so she told me if she could withdraw from SOW if she cannot just become a senior. so i went to ask zoe if she could exchange her OGL role with someone from her OG. zoe was quite relunctant coz she said someone said lijun was very capable. O.O no comments on that. anyway, i told her lijun really didn't want it and she wants to withdraw if she HAS to. so zoe came up with this 'brilliant' plan and said that just nice, there was this OG which was missing 4 people. she'll transfer lijun and her 2 friends over and make me the OGL of that group. O.O wtf. WTF. this is the most ridiculous thing i've ever heard. i didn't even go for the SOW interview. had no intention of being in SOW, let alone OGL. and this is what happens. what is the world coming to? then zoe felt very proud of herself coz she realized i can send her home after every SOW event. =.=;; win. why is she my neighbour? ugh. so much for being low profile in NUS. =.=;;

today was a much much better day. had fun with my friends. i have great friends. didn't have time to think about anything else today. and yes, special thanks to baka and 2nd uncle. paiseh to disturb the both of you during midnight last night but you 2 were the only ones online around that time. thank you thank you. love you guys many many! ((:

wanted to blog yesterday but was busy chionging my CM1121 revision. ughh. that crazy lecturer. i dont understand why our test must be 15 chapters long! i'd rather she give us 2 tests with 7 chapters instead! roar. no matter how fun organic chem is, 15 chapters for a test is ridiculous! worse still, the test is just 3 days before TQ grand finals. HOW AM I GOING TO FIND TIME TO STUDY?! i still have so many things to do! not to mention, i still have my 6 freshmen sem questions that derek chan gave us. and i have to hand them up the day after TQ grand finals. this is absurd. really.

i felt SUPER CHEATED yesterday. i went down for the dry run thing because ziping said i needed to do the video-ing while someone was interviewing the contestants. was supposed to meet at 1PM but i came at 10AM coz my dad had to send his car for servicing so i had to follow him. besides, ziping and chooisum were there already so i just decided to join them earlier. turned out that ben and tara were the ones doing the video-ing and interviewing which meant I WAS NOT NEEDED AT ALL. freak. i could have slept in can! it's been MONTHS since i got a chance to sleep in! i have to freaking wake up at 7/8AM every single freaking day. coz there's always something on saturdays! I WANT MY SATURDAYS FREE!

sooner or later, i'm going to collapse. i think i just might. this week. a one week old headache that gets really bad if it wants to. and i'm developing a cough (THANKS ZIPING!). lol. ziping spread her cough to the exco. chooisum and i kept couging in the clubroom.

this week is going to be crazy. i still so many things to do! which reminds me, i have to drive down to bugis with tara to get the REDS hamper and after that go down to geylang to see the trophies. but nobody's free to accompany me down to see the trophies! roar. i don't know how to go to geylang and i don't exactly want to go there alone. omg. anyone want to be SO VERY KIND enough to accompany me there? please? i will love you a lot a lot a lot. and forevermore! ((:

siru just came back from japan yesterday! she couldn't find the shops that baka gave her. )): booo. after she told me, i literally panicked and went to find baka. BUT SHE DIDN'T REPLY ME ON MSN. omg. and made me panic even more coz the magazine is a limited version and when i went to the brand-x website, there were apparently only FOUR more copies. omg. i waited and waited and waited for baka to reply me while going all panicky in front of mich. LOL. in the end, it turned out that baka went to bathe. =.=;; she always bathes at the weirdest times. it was close to midnight, mind you. she helped me place an order! whoo. MAD TEA PARTY. COME TO ME! ((:

oh yes, ONE MORE IMPORTANT THING. CONGRATULATIONS ACE FOR GETTING INTO THE FINALS! ((: unnie is very proud of you. i told you you can do it de! i think you were just too paranoid. hahaha. EMAX WILL SUPPORT YOU ALL THE WAY!

wanted to blog yesterday. but i kinda uhhh 'died' after trying to study for half an hour. roar. yesterday was a really crazy and tiring and angry day.

finished school at 10AM. but waited for tara with baka (that sweetheart decided to accompany me the entire day. thanks love!) coz we had to go down to TUAS to collect the sponsored drinks from shengsheng. 死 shengsheng. when we got to the car, I REALIZED THAT MY DAD'S CAR DIDN'T HAVE A STREET DIRECTORY. omg.

getting to tuas was easy. getting around tuas was INSANE. we couldn't find south view square. so tara called the woman. she said find tuas avenue 6. okay. so we travelled around and saw TUAS AVE 1. TUAS AVE 2. TUAS AVE 3. TUAS AVE 4. TUAS AVE 5. TUAS AVE 7. TUAS AVE 8. TUAS AVE 9. TUAS AVE 10. BUT NO FREAKING TUAS AVENUE 6. WTF. after a gazillion minutes, we finally found avenue 6. then we couldnt find the next road. so tara called back. and the woman said find tuas SOUTH avenue 6. omg. i was boiling mad already. wtf.

we saw tuas SOUTH avenue XXX when we went further down and we were so happy. so we saw TUAS SOUTH AVE 1. TUAS SOUTH AVE 2. TUAS SOUTH AVE 3. TUAS SOUTH AVE 4. TUAS SOUTH AVE 5. TUAS SOUTH AVE 7. TUAS SOUTH AVE 8. blahblahblah. walao. i wanted to pull my dad's car steering wheel off already. =.=;; i have never hated the number six so much before. so when we finally found ave 6, we were supposed to find tuas south view square. we could only see tuas south view link, tuas south view walk and tuas south view close. it ended up being connected to tuas south view walk. =.=;; and the woman told us to look for a yellow building.

NOT so funny thing was that the stupid building turned out to be BLUE in colour. wtf. the woman is colour blind. honestly. i was super ready to murder the next person who will piss me off. just in that short span of 45 minutes when we were LOST, i did 4957203593 u-turns. baka and tara agreed that i'm a u-turn expert already. the contradicting thing was that i didnt even do a u-turn for my driving test. wow.

went to IMM for lunch. we decided that we needed to treat ouselves for finding such an ulu place by ourselves without the help of a directory. just imagine, 3 19 year olds driving all around tuas. =.=;; WHY ARE THE GIRLS DOING THE COLLECTION?! TQ guys are indeed useless. roar.

made a trip down to baka's house to get her thai textbook. i was so SEH from driving the entire day that i didn't exactly see a car coming when i was coming out of the junction and i uhh nearly got into an accident. i think if the guy didn't stop in time, i would have been smashed into pieces. whoo. so NOT fun. i think the guy was like cursing at me. ughhhhh. sorry whoever you are. )):

went back to school and got 3 MC guys to help us bring the cartons to the old clubroom. thanks weiming, dingli and uhh i can't remember his name. was it weikit? OOOOPS. anyway, as i was uhh trying to get the carton of the car, the carton decided to be MEAN and fell onto my 2nd finger. wtf.

another thing. i brought my harddisk wires but I DIDN'T BRING MY HARDDISK TO SCHOOL. omg. i wanted to just kill myself when ziping told me it wasn't in my bag. wtf. everything was just going WRONG yesterday.

and not to mention. i had a horrible headache while driving. ughh.

YESTERDAY WAS A BAD DAY. a really horrible one. i wanted to just break down and cry! ROAR. but of course i didn't. i had a great time at tuition yesterday. my new student cheered me up quite a bit. he's so cute. i threatened to poke him whenever he gets the answer wrong. =x

today was a much better day. ((:
although it was the day Jesus Christ was crucified on the cross.

letitia and jeremy performed some song today. the lyrics were beautiful. it was about why Jesus died on the cross for all of us. i'll find the lyrics and the song and put it up here sometime soon. it's a really beautiful and meaningful song. whenever i hear it, i can't help but cry.

anyway, I FOUND ANOTHER LOVE OF MY LIFE.

decided to watch 久遠PV while waiting for my parents to go to my grandma's house for dinner. a very bad choice. as usual, whenever i hear this song, i want to CRY. )): it's just very uhhh touching too. apparently, according to baka, it's about friendship. damn sweet. the settings were so nice. and playing was fantastic as usual. i was listening to each instrument instead of asagi singing. lol. but UGHHHH I MISS D SO MUCH. )):

i have been doing my tutorials and cutting out videos for the past 2 hours. omg. i HATE multitasking. i've decided to take a break from both so here i am to blog!

i will kill the person who invented VIDEO EDITTING. omg. i've been doing this stupid editting thing for 3 days already! horrible. after we were done with the promo video, ziping told me we had to cut out the performances of all the individual contestants to send it to quarffs. WTF. the splitting up part is not a problem. BUT the publishing part takes ten million years to finish! i have at least 50 performances to cut out. from quarterfinals to band finals. OMG. pingping, KILL YOUR CHUI COM. )):

anyway, after we finished our promo video, we were upset and tired.

did the 2nd part of our ACTS OF KINDNESS yesterday. milton and i went back to visit mrs phillips. as usual, she was really friendly and open. and her knee has healed! she said she can walk with ease now. praise the Lord! ((: anyway, we were supposed to stay for only about 30 minutes. we ended up staying there for 2 hours. O.O haha. we wanted to go already but mrs phillips told us to wait for her grandson to come. i'm so glad we stayed. HE'S THE MOST ADORABLE THING I'VE EVER SEEN. not to mention super random as well.

i'm supposed to be happy since it's the end of the week. but NOOOOOO. i have to wake up at 8AM tomorrow. bloody hell. my mom wants to go and collect our stupid passports tomorrow at 10AM. wtf. and i thought i could sleep in for once in this ENTIRE week. my dream has been dashed. )): sleep and me = no fate. roar.

ziping's coming over to do video editting tomorrow! saturday wasted again. on TQ. ughh. any kind soul wanna come and help us too? i have a feeling that we might not finish doing it by tomorrow. i think we'll spend half the time talking rubbish and the other half figuring out how to the use programme. no wait. i forgot to include the time we have to wait when my laptop hangs. i finally got to meet up with her ever since the midterm break! all thanks to lijun. haha. actually lijun was the one meeting her for lunch. in the end i went along and ended up staying in school until 2PM (school ended at 10AM for me). as usual, we had a lot of things to catch up on. ughh. i miss my bestie. )): stupid marc is stealing her away from me! roar. anyway, i finally knew how she and marc got together and when she started to like him. HAHAHA. and it's been 1 year and 2 months already. am i slow or what? =.=;; i think we really could've talked until the next year if she didn't have to go for her lecture. BESTIE, WE MUST GO OUT AFTER EXAMS OKAY? stop putting marc first on your list! i'm getting jealous! ((:

i've been writing on HOMOSEXUALITY for goodness knows how long. omg. mich, baka and i are are doing an essay on gays for our group project thing. each of us are required to write 5 pages. at first i thought 5 pages were riculously long. while i was writing my 2nd page, i told mich that i already have 800 words while mich only had 500 words for her 2nd page. O.O in the end, mich reminded me that it is double spacing. HAHAHA. omg. you should have seen the RELIEVED face i had. in the end, i had a bit too much to write. =.=;; i'm already on my 5th page but i'm kinda tired already. so i shall save it for tomorrow. hohoho.

my plan of getting sick worked. O.O i didn't even go into the rain or whatsoever. i think it's all psychological. seriously. =.=;; hahaha. i'm not majorly sick, but sick enough.

anyway, let's talk about yesterday! haha. talentquest'08 photoshoot! i think it was a success! haha. istana park was... more like a space than a park. really. =.=;; while waiting for some people who were late, we were all sitting on the pavement. opposite the istana. omg. what a joke. imagine, a HUGE group of people in black, gathering around OPPOSITE THE ISTANA with at least 5 police outside the gate. HAHAHA. major illegal gathering. the talentquest mafia gang! *brings out parang* lol.

had fun doing the photoshoot. we were kinda like models. hehehe. i like the photos my comm took! ((: we had to kick the water at the guy so that the water droplets will fly and have the stupid nice effects. the first few times, our legs all came up at different times but there were a lot of water droplets. the later few times, our legs were all of the same height but there was NO water droplets. HAHAHA. omg. madness.

programme comm was horribly HUGE. hahaha. they were doing the 'flip hair' thing. super cute de. 1, 2, 3, FLIP! but the problem is, my 2 uncles don't have hair long enough to flip! HAHAHAH. so in the end, they just stood there and act cool. =.=;; totally NOT cool. =x the 2nd candid shot was the girls bullying the guys. LOL. i like that picture. ((:

log comm. strength = 2. ziping and xiaokai. HAHAHAHA. so in the end, ziping made all the guys the honourary log comm members so that the photo won't look so ridiculous. the 4 guys (yes, talentquest only has that many guys) ended up bullying my BFF! ROAR. i should smack all of them. tsktsk.

i was so bored when the contestants were having their photoshoot that i decided to be a paparazzi for a while and took pictures of two people. ((: hohoho. BFF and favourite uncle, don't kill me okay. you know i love you two a lot a lot a lot. ((:

went to pasta mania for lunch after that! alice was meeting her friend so she didn't have pasta mania. she smuggled in auntie anne's in! tsktsk.

talentquest'08 band finals is over!
it was a blast. many loves to talentquest'08 committee! ((:

picked ziping up in the morning coz we had to be down in school at 9AM. but ben came at 9.30AM and tara came at 10.30AM! omg. ziping and i were just sitting outside like idiots. ziping kept complaining that she could have used that time to study and do her lab report. lol. silly girl.

decided to drive down to zouk instead of taking a cab coz ben said there was free parking. lol. mel's policy - only drive to places with FREE parking! ((:

frankly speaking, i went there to waste time. =.=;; i had nothing to do can. haha. coz everyone who went there early had stuff to prepare but publicity didn't have to do decorations coz zouk was already decorated! with pretty stars so mich was happy. haha. mich came down around 1PM to accompany me. i love you dajie! thanks!
