i have to blog about today's event. though i'm feeling horrible. my headache has officially gotten WORSE. it's been hurting the whole day. usually it stops at night. but i guess it decided to make me suffer more today. )): and my cough. ughh. my horrible cough. my mom forced me to the cough medicine just now coz she was worried i'll get some weird pneumonia thing and die. =.=;; adding on, i have a FLU. omg. i'm super tired now. tired coz i'm sick. rarrh. but i can't sleep.

anyway, yes. today's event. my very lovely friend, BAKA, decided to follow tara and me to see the trophies and get the REDS sponsored stuff. ((: BAKA, i love you a lot a lot a lot. and FOREVERMORE! ((: hehehe.

okay. first stop. was some trophy shop at geylang lorong 23. thank goodness for the existence of a street directory. we got there pretty quick. and we didn't get lost. haha. coz we didn't have trouble finding lorong 23! shit you tuas south avenue 6! lol. after seeing the trophies, tara said to go to another trophy shop to compare. this time the shop (called anders marking or something along that line) was at chinatown, chin swee street. we got there after making a huge round. but we got there nonetheless. last stop! at REDS! it was near cityhall. at liang seah street. turned out that the 'hampers' that they were sponsoring came in plastic bags. YES WE HAVE TO WRAP THEM OURSELVES. ridiculous. where on earth can we find the time to do it?! ughh. we need manpower!

okay. basically that was the summary of where we went. now i must tell you the 'adventure' we had in the car. omg. it was crazy. the 3 of us honestly went insane. it was super fun can. it's like we are on some road trip rather than doing errands. hahaha.

as usual, i will play my jrock/jpop CD in my car coz i dont really like to listen to the radio. the songs are boring. so tara told me she wanted to listen to ENGLISH songs. so i decided to switch to 98.7FM. then i told her 'i bet we'll listen to our TQ theme song'. lol. the TQ theme song is i can't remember who sang it but it has the lyrics 'everything's gonna be alright'! haha. tara and i have heard it whenever we're out running errands. REALLY. without fail. the last time we went to tuas, WE HEARD IT. so when i switched to the radio, they started to play james blunt's you're beautiful. after that, tara suddenly went 'OMG MEL!' scared the hell out of me. i thought i made a wrong turning. =.=;; anyway, IT TURNED OUT THAT THEY WERE PLAYING THAT SONG. hahahhaha. omg. that was it. i laughed for a good 10 minutes while driving. baka just kept laughing at us and saying 'sooner or later i'm going to hate that song'. it was really damn funny. my goodness. joke of the day.

okay 2nd thing. by the time we went to collect the stuff from REDS, it was like 2.30PM. baka and i were starving coz we didn't have lunch first. so while on the way to REDS, i was really really really hungry. i saw the street name 'pisang road' as 'goreng pisang road' and 'jln sultan' as 'jln sultana'. AND my car steering wheel suddenly look strangely like a donut. and 7-11 was staring at me with those shiny eyes. HAHAHAHA. insane. i really lost it then. too hungry until i was HALLUCINATING. my goodness.

we went to subway for lunch at some nearby place. it was like 3PM already and tara missed her tutorial! ugh i felt so bad coz i really didn't want her to miss her tutorial coz it's not good! and just so happened ziping messaged tara to ask where we were. then ziping said that dingli will kill her coz she promised to keep watch over tara's academic. hahaha. then i told tara 'if dingli kills ziping, i'll kill you. then dingli and i will have a showdown! his oar against my bowling ball. street fighter round 1! dinging!' O.O dont ask me what i was thinking then. omg. i think too much driving is not good for my brain. makes me come up with weird stories.

oh yeah, when i was driving, i was busy scolding all the cars who pissed me off. =.=;; honestly, MEN AREN'T EXACTLY VERY GOOD DRIVERS EITHER. jeez. there was this nissan sunny car which was pissing me off. i can't remember what happened. but i went something like 'WALAO! STUPID NISSAN!' i dont know why but baka found it wonderfuly amusing and laughed non-stop. =.=;;

we decided to give each other roles in the car.
me - DRIVE
baka - READ MAP
tara - CRY WHEN WE GET LOST
hahahaha. coz tara didn't have anything to do! coz we decided to give her that role. honestly, that girl cannot read maps at all. she was looking at the map for so long before we set off to lorong 23 and went 'I CANT FIND THE STREET'. O.O win.

reached school around 5PM. yes, baka missed her LSM tutorial. but she didn't really care. =.=;; but then again, going for that tutorial is indeed very useless. lol. i just go there, listen and take down notes. jang! ben showed us the programme booklet that he did. super pretty! the TQ comm photo was really nice can. omg. we all look super good! very happy! ((: TQ grand finals is going to be a blast! anyone interested to go? tell me!

and last thing. I AM SUDDENLY SOW OGL COZ OF LIJUN. stupid lijun. that girl didn't want to be OGL so she told me if she could withdraw from SOW if she cannot just become a senior. so i went to ask zoe if she could exchange her OGL role with someone from her OG. zoe was quite relunctant coz she said someone said lijun was very capable. O.O no comments on that. anyway, i told her lijun really didn't want it and she wants to withdraw if she HAS to. so zoe came up with this 'brilliant' plan and said that just nice, there was this OG which was missing 4 people. she'll transfer lijun and her 2 friends over and make me the OGL of that group. O.O wtf. WTF. this is the most ridiculous thing i've ever heard. i didn't even go for the SOW interview. had no intention of being in SOW, let alone OGL. and this is what happens. what is the world coming to? then zoe felt very proud of herself coz she realized i can send her home after every SOW event. =.=;; win. why is she my neighbour? ugh. so much for being low profile in NUS. =.=;;

today was a much much better day. had fun with my friends. i have great friends. didn't have time to think about anything else today. and yes, special thanks to baka and 2nd uncle. paiseh to disturb the both of you during midnight last night but you 2 were the only ones online around that time. thank you thank you. love you guys many many! ((:
