i'm honestly very very LAZY and don't feel like blogging about SCAMP at all. but i shall. just so that when i read back the next time, i will at least somewhat remember how SCAMP was like for me. hahaha. man, this makes me wonder if i'll still blog when i'm 40 years old. HAHA.

day zero, 22.06.2008

girls had to meet at 2PM while the guys met at 6PM coz we were learning how to make figurines using angelclay and the guys weren't supposed to know about it until the 2nd day. the angelclay is FREAKING light. omg and it looks just like styrofoam. haha. it was super fun to do though very tiring.

my mom didn't believe i made it okay. she thought i bought it. i wonder if i should feel insulted or happy. haha. insulted coz she doesn't believe that i can do such pretty things. happy coz it looks like it's done professionally! lol.

did this on day two while teaching the freshies. huiling supposed to make one for veron but she gave up halfway coz she was so frustrated. hahaha. in the end, i had to do one for her. =.=;; it was almost 1AM so the committee was rushing everyone and i had NO TIME to do its hair so i gave the angel a hat. HAHAHA. huiling didn't manage to do a 'heart' or a 'lollipop' for the angel, which is why its not holding anything. LOL. ended up giving it buttons so it won't look so plain. huiling, you're useless! lol.

day one, 23.06.2008

freshies were supposed to at 9AM. alice and i were marshalls, directing people to lt25. weekeong and terenze crashed as freshies. hahaha. ridiculous. went outside the lt to play icebreakers with the freshies. SCMC people had to act as freshies so we couldn't treat tara like one of us. it was torturous. hahaha. played a few stupid games but i managed to learn all their names and faces! pro right. lol.

had lunch after that. thank goodness, it was no longer 90% rice. ((:

'prison break' next. omg my freshies are damn enthu. not that i'm complaining. it's good to see them taking the initiative to cheer and stuff. and i was CAMERAWOMAN for the day! coz huiling kept forgetting to take pitures so i stole the camera from her and took many stupid and SCANDALOUS photos. hahaha. coz there was this game where a guy and a girl must hold the card using their mouths and they had to roll over a canvas sheet. omg. i felt like some paparazzi. i think i should stop studying and just become a paparazzi. HAHAHA. =.=;;

dinner, sponsor talk and SP interaction.

SP interaction was damn fun. coz the girls and guys will be blindfolded and they'll talk to each other (1 girl and 1 guy) blindfolded. hahaha. i spotted amanda and her SP. so i just sat next to them and listened to their conversation for 10 minutes before the guy asked her what time it was and i just spoke up and scared them. HAHAHA. i'm so evil. ((:

day two, 24.06.2008

had sponsor talk in the morning but i accompanied nianrong down for her medical checkup and went to see a doctor about my rashes. we took 3 hours can. that was how long the queue was. so the both of us just talked about our life and stuff. and it turned out that tricia arifin was janis, rachel and her CJC classmate. O.O this world is so small.

went back to join kiatze for 'dare to be stupid'. we were playing against our buddy og and we were supposed to be 'friendly' but my freshies are those kind that play to win so they were so violent. tsktsk. especially the last game where they had to throw water bombs at the opposing team. they threw SO HARD. scared me. hahaha.

SCAMP committee surprised weina coz it was her birthday. alan pretended to be damn pissed that they were 50 minutes behind the scheduled time and he scolded the whole committee and stormed out of the lt. weina was stunned but she didn't blow her top or anything and just said sorry and continued whatever she was saying. suddenly, the lights turned out off and alan walked down the lt with a birthday cake and singing 'happy birthday weina'. HAHAHA. weina just broke down. she's such a sweet girl. ((: we all love you weina!

SCMC people gave a talk and revealed to the freshies that they are NOT freshies. HAHAHA. it was so funny to see the expressions of the freshies. amanda, zhing and sihui felt so cheated and the rest kept calling tara a liar. HAHAHAH. oops. the seniors felt so relieved coz it was SO DAMN HARD to not talk to tara. we had to treat her like we have never talked to her before.

day three, 25.06.2008

was one of the 'actors/station masters' for the godfather. benjy, alan and were i on the higher leve. there were supposed to be 2 groups of actors. but everyone was in the rush and kept going to the group that was on the first floor. so the 3 of us were freaking bored to death. and i ate all of alan's sweets. HAHAHA. oops.

went down to hendon camp on a lorry. the ride was damn shiok. fell asleep can. benjy woke me up coz they were taking photos and i just looked around blurred and all. everyone laughed at me. roar. it's not my fault that i was tired. hehe.

i basically slacked there coz i didn't have to put on any makeup. i was stationed at the bridge and we only had to wear a hood and mask. so happening right. hahaha.

we were told to be at our stations around 7.30PM. no prize for guessing that we started late. we started at 9.30PM can. ridiculous. during that 2 hours, pengkoon, youwei, benjy, bess and i were discussing how we were going to scare the freshies. in the end, the freshies kept coming so fast that we didn't have time to do what we originally planned. =.=;; we were practically running up and down can.

finally my og came. RACHEL WAS THE CUTEST THING EVER. coz she was so freaked out right. when we blindfolded her, she kept saying 'i'll join rag, i'll join rag. don't scare me'. HAHAHA. as if it's going to help her. omg. adorable girl.

we stayed at hendon camp IN PURE DARKNESS until 3AM can. =.=;; kiatze waited up for ziping, wenguang and me. we had macs to eat! hahaha. after a while, the freshies went up to the room and i just collapsed on the sofa. ziping woke me up at 6AM and told me to bathe. O.O i totally forgot about bathing. hahaha. went back to sleep after that. we didn't even close the main door when we sleep can. amazing nobody came to rob us. haha.

day four, 26.06.2008

stupid arthur gave me the nickname 麵包超人. why? i have NO idea. that you must ask him. now everyone calls me that. =.=;; junjie loves to translte it to english: bread superman. =.=;;

sentosa day! i put tanning oil okay! AND I DIDN'T GET VERY TAN. =.=;; i'm upset. i cannot get tan can! roar. everyone was chaota and there i was, still as white as ever. hahaha. tara was jealous. i'd exchange with her anyday.

the freshies seemed to enjoy the games a lot. i must admit that the sentosa games are the best. didn't go into the water coz i was in charge of looking after the belongings. THANK GOODNESS FOR THAT. hehehe. ((:

had dinner at underwater world. all the SP pairs had dinner together. the female seniors weren't playing so we all stood around together. haha. it was really nice eating on the conveyer belt and watching the marine life. damn nice can. hehehe. hung around janis, rachel and nianrong and their SPs. shawn turned out to be rachel's SP. i told you this world is small.

headed down to butter factory. damn boring. i couldn't drink coz i was on medication. ziping, huiling and alice wouldn't let me drink also. i got kinda pissed coz what's the point of clubbing if i don't drink. so i just walked out of the club alone. paiseh people. =x anyway, i walked up and down boat quay until 3AM. lol. while doing that, i was 'couple spotting'. saw so many science fac couples. tsktsk. all these scandalous people. running out of the club to rendezvous with their other halfs.

day five, 27.06.2008

THE LAST DAY OF SCAMP! and i thought i would never see this day. hahaha. SCAMP was fun, i had to admit. but it was damn tiring too. imagine, sleeping at 3/4AM every single day and having to wake up at 8AM is crazy. they're trying to kill us. haha.

had prize presentation and stuff. kiatze won the 'best ID tag'! hehe. and it's all thanks to wenguang. it was all his idea can. no wonder he was last year's SCAMP director. haha. creative juices are flowing out of him like nobody's business. whoosh.
